schedule an appointment to meet with an academic advisor
Schedule an appointment to meet with an academic advisor at a college that you are interested in. Your junior college academic counselor is no help? Don’t know what your dream college is looking for? Perhaps you feel stuck? Go schedule an appointment to meet with an academic advisor at a college that you want to transfer to. That’s right! You don’t have to be a student at the university to meet with their counselors. It’s easy, and worth it. They can tell you if you are ready to transfer or if you need to do more. They can even give you application tips.
take a tour of the campus

check out the website
review the university’s website
Check out the university’s website. Explore the school virtually. What Student organizations do they have? Do they have disability services or a career center? Also check out your major on the school’s website- it will give you an idea of what your coursework will look like, or what your major is like at that particular school.
don’t stress
Don’t stress! You don’t have to race out of junior college. Take pride in where you are now, and apply to your desired university when you feel ready.
Maybe you lack the confidence to take the next step. I have been there, but I did it, and so can you!
